The complexity of the challenge that we face as a sector is vast and the solutions are not simple. The industry has a very long and hard road ahead of it to become one that doesn’t harm our planet or the people on it. We are not perfect but we are always striving to improve.

Clothes that take you through seasons, clothes that are timeless. Building a timeless wardrobe is not about avoiding new purchases at all costs, but about crafting a wardrobe that reduces the need to shop and declutter over the long term.
We encourage you to create a wardrobe of fewer but all beautiful pieces.
By only producing small quantities it allows us to be kinder to our planet by never taking more than we need. By reducing excess stock we can reduce waste and materials and help the environment.
Design
MODESTLY VINTAGE designs are made to last. We do not follow any fast fashion trends or pressures on large collections and production.
Manufacturing
We work very closely with our factory that produces our clothing. Our factory is located in China.
As a small label, we are able to have very close, personal relationships with our manufacturers. We believe these relationships are integral to an ethical relationship.
Sustainable packaging
All of our packaging including boxes and wrapping are eco friendly and have been produced from sustainable sources. They are between 60% and 100% made from recycled materials. Our aim is to use 100% recycled materials in all packaging.
We have proactively signed up to the Welsh Government Equality Pledge. This pledge demonstrates our sincere intention to take steps towards creating an inclusive, fair and diverse workplace, whilst demonstrating our commitment to any employees and the wider community, while offering accessible products and services to all.
